County Laws

  • Anti-Hitching Ordinance:

    All horses are to be hitched or stabled inside town or city limits. A law enforcement officer has the right to remove all unhitched horses.

  • Carriage Parking Regulation:

    Within a city or town, a carriage must be parked off the road if riderless to prevent traffic obstruction. If currently a rider is on a carriage, the rider is unable to park; the carriage may remain on the road for no longer than 5 minutes.

  • Speeding:

    No person shall speed their horse or wagon recklessly throughout a town faster than a trot.

  • Indecent Actions:

    No person is to sneeze more than 4 times in a row.

  • Negligent Riding:

    No person shall ride their horse or wagon recklessly throughout a town that could potentially lead to the harm of others.

  • Train Hopping:

    Boarding or riding any train without a ticket or permission from the train operator or business owner is prohibited.

  • Loitering on Government Property:

    Standing or waiting around an area or government property such as the Sheriff's Department, Doctor's Office, or Courthouse, without purpose or reason.

  • Open Carry of Longarm in Town or City:

    The act of displaying or having a long-arm firearm on one's shoulder or back inside of Blackwater, Saint Denis, Valentine, Annesburg, Strawberry, or Rhodes (bows are not counted).

  • Brandishing:

    To display, point, or otherwise unholster a weapon to intimidate another person is not permitted.

  • Public Disorderly Conduct:

    No person shall act in an unruly way that causes a disturbance or grievance to others in a public place.

  • Wife Law:

    No man shall forget his wife's birthday.

  • Disturbing the Peace:

    Engaging in behavior that disrupts public tranquility or violates the peace and quiet of the community. This includes fighting, protesting, rioting in public without lawful permit.

  • Public Indecency:

    The act of intentionally being out in a city or town without clothes on. Being in undergarments is considered public indecency. No person shall wear suits of armor within Government Buildings.

  • Failure to Identify:
    • Def. 1: Refusing to identify yourself to a law enforcement official when placed under arrest or being detained.
    • Def. 2: Failure to have your government identification on you when placed under arrest or being detained.
  • Impersonating:

    The act of attempting to assume the identity of another member OF THE COMMUNITY OR Impersonating a Government Official (Inc. Law Enforcement Officers)

  • Worms:

    No person shall carry more than 20 worms on their person at any time.
  • Possession of Fake Identification:

    Being in possession of a Fake Identification intended to misinform people on their identity

  • Disobeying a Lawful Order:
    • Def. 1: No person shall wilfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any lawman. This includes failing to: - Cease and desist; desist from loud or boisterous behaviour
    • Def. 2: Lawmen have the right to order citizens away from an active crime area
  • Impeding Public Officials:

    The act of harming, harassment, or interfering against any individual who performs public duties directly preventing them from performing their duties.

  • Aiding and Abetting:

    Assisting, supporting, or helping another to commit a crime or hide from law enforcement officer.

  • Extortion:

    Intimidating or influencing another to provide or hand over properties or services.
